Kay Johannsen – a successful commencement

For his 2012 China Tour Kay Johannsen can achieve a successful commencement.

 

On 16th of May 2012 the German master of church music delighted a variegated and illustrious audience in the European Hall of the German Embassy in Beijing.

Together with the renowned Chinese Organ player, Professor Shen Fanxiu, he provided the audience with a informative and very interesting lecture on the swiss excellent watches fake chopard Organ itself as well as the history of organmusic. He accompanied his explanation with well selected woks from Johann Sebastian Bach and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. The excited audience also had the opportunity to listen to Professor Shen Fanxiu who presented a baroque Organ work and her interpretation of a Chinese Folk Song. As special Highlight, Kay Johannsen performed a free and unique interpretation of some famous pieces of church music, which – as he accented – will never performed again in this way!

 

 

 

 

The official start of his tour took place on 17th of May by the May Festival at the NCPA in Beijing at the “Hall Guardian”, the the big Klais-Organ with its over 6000 pipes. At this evening the unique way of Johannsens interpretations was made accessible to the broad public. The Maestro took the audience along on a journey through Baroque and Romantics Organ music. Again diving watches copy rolex sea-dweller, the audience had the pleasure to have Professor Shen Fanxiu, the expert of Organ music in China, as a highly qualified interpreter for Mr. Johannsen’s explanations.

 

 

Again the audience was witness of his exceptional talent. Johannsen showed off the whole range of organ-music with works from Johann Sebastian Bach, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Louis Nicolas Clérembault, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Max Reger and Louis Vierne. These composers represent perfectly the different styles from country to country during Baroque and Romantic. At the end of this magnificient concert the audience again had the pleasure to experience one of his unique improvisations. In a very touching and inspiring way Kay Johannsen performed the very famous “Freude schöner Götterfunken” from the 9th Symphony of Beethoven.

 

On 19th May greeted Kay Johannsen the audiences of Shanghai with his concert in SHOAC (Shanghai Oriental Art Center). In the first half of the concert provieded he with the history of orgelmusic and the technical method of playing an organ. In the second half gave it was his principal musical performance. Undoubtedly, many fans of organ will benefit a lot from his interesting explaination and wonderful performance.

 

 

 

20th May was a special day for lover, because of its similar sound of “I love you” in Chinese. In order to make this concert in Hangzhou more romantic, Kay Johannsen played not only the famous tracks of organmusic, but also “A Wedding March” of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.
