The Israel Symphony Orchestra 2014 China Tour
Under the direction of Lyn Williams, Sydney Children’s Choir has built a worldwide reputation for choral excellence. In the past 20 years, The Sydney Children's Choir has commissioned over 60 works from leading Australian composers and performs a significant number of Australian compositions each year. In this way, the Choir seeks to introduce worldwide audiences to a distinctive Australian choral sound and to increase audience appreciation of children’s choirs as a compelling medium for making music. Eurovista is presenting the choir's first China Tour, incl. performances in Yantai, Tianjin and Beijing. They will also take part in the 29th World Conference for Music Education.
In July 2008, Eurovista assisted CSMES to organize the delegation of chinese music teachers to ISME conference in Italy, during which, Eurovista organized various vistiting and exchange activities between the delegation and european music institutions, including the visits to the committee of the Salzburg Festival, one of the oldest music publishing house Doblinger Music in Vienna and Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest. Through the ISME conference, members of the delegation have gained a general and thorough overview of the music education methods of the world, professional background and trend of music festival, publishing house and famous music acedemy, which has greatly enriched their music vision.
In October 2008, Eurovista reported the opera performance “Der Rosenkavalier” and “Tannhäuser”of Deutsche Oper Berlin at Beijing Music Festival as well as the opera master class on the most prominent music professonal opera news website in Germany. www.opernnetz.de.
